HYDROLOGIC INSTRUMENTATION FACILITY MEMORANDUM NO. 01.03

SUBJECT: Year-End Closeout and Pre-Payment of FY02 HIF Equipment Rentals

The Field Service Section of the HYDROLOGIC INSTRUMENTATION FACILITY (HIF) WILL CLOSE FOR YEAR-END ACCOUNTING ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2001 AT 5:00 P.M., CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME.

All equipment orders to be charged against FY01 funds must be completed before that

time. Equipment returns to be credited in FY01 must be received by the HIF prior to September 5, 2001. HIF-CSS II will be shut down until October 1, 2001.

Cost centers planning to pre-pay FY02 rentals must submit their request via email to Brenda Burke (BLBURKE) not later than close of business on September 5, 2001. Each request must contain the account numbers to be credited and the amount to be credited to each account.

Please make plans to order equipment needed during this period before September 10, 2001. However, if you have an emergency while HIF-CSS II is closed or if additional funds become available, please do not hesitate to contact Brenda Burke (BLBURKE) or Shera Krieger (SKRIEGER) at 800-382-0634.
