Subject:  Minutes of August 6-9, 2001 Instrumentation Committee Meeting
This memorandum reports on the August 6-9, 2001 joint meeting of the Water 
Resources Discipline (WRD) Instrumentation Committee (ICOM) and 
Instrumentation Advisory Subcommittee (ITAS). The meeting was held at the 
District Office in Mounds View, Minnesota. The primary purpose of the 
meeting was to: 
Review progress reports for selected priority instrumentation projects 
Prepare recommendations and evaluate instrumentation needs requests 
Meet with staff of the Minnesota District Office in a town meeting and an 
ADCP technology transfer meeting. 
Receive progress reports on several 5-Year Plan issues, such as the 
National Instrumentation Testing and Calibration Program 
Receive reports on critical instrumentation-related issues for the HIF, 
Discipline Offices, NRP, and the Water Survey of Canada

March meeting (attachment 1), the ICOM minutes (attachment 2), and the

The next meeting of the ICOM will be held at the District Office in 
Baltimore, Maryland on November 14-15, 2001.
