Subject:  ICOM Brochure

I want to call your attention to a new brochure that explains the function 
of the Instrumentation Committee (ICOM) and how instrumentation and 
equipment needs are translated into new products and technology that help 
us do our jobs safer, better, and more efficiently.  The brochure 
describes ICOM's history, membership, role in instrumentation and 
equipment development, and funding.  It can be accessed from the ICOM 
Homepage (http://1stop.usgs.gov/icom/) or directly from 
http://1stop.usgs.gov/icom/general/trifold.pdf.  Paper copies can be
