Subject:  USGS TSP Calculator Now Available 

The Office of Human Resources is pleased to announce the release of the 
USGS TSP Calculator at http://www.usgs.gov/ohr/calculators/index.html 

This calculator is designed to be used by all USGS employees currently 
contributing to the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP). It allows you to quickly 
and easily use your web browser to calculate an estimate of your TSP 
benefits at withdrawal, based on your current account balances, 
contribution rates, and estimated rates of returns. In addition, the TSP 
Calculator lets you simulate the effects of a variety of changes to your 
account over time, including pay increases, changes to the rates of return 
for each fund, changes in the amount you contribute, interfund transfers, 
and much more. 

The calculator is also available on an external USGS website, meaning you 
can use the TSP Calculator from your home. The USGS Retirement Calculator 
announced in December has also been moved to this external site for your 
convenience. All questions, problems, or comments regarding this website
