                      QUALITY OF WATER SERVICE UNIT (QWSU)

                          FY00 Close-out Information 
                      (Ocala Laboratory - OCALAMAN/1Stop)

             The QWSU billing cut-off date for Fiscal Year 00 will be 
             Friday, September 15, 2000, for both analytical services 
             and field supplies. This means that samples and supply 
             orders (ocalaman/1Stop) received after COB Friday, 
             September 15, will be charged to Fiscal Year 2001. Final 
             analytical and supply billings will be available September 
             20.  Prices for laboratory services and field supply items 
             will increase selectively reflecting increased costs of 
             operations, commercial products, and required quality 
             assurance.  FY2001 price lists are currently under review 
             for final approval by the new Lab Chief, Mike Meyer. We 
             plan to have these available by September 1, 2000.(See 
             contact information below). FY2001 prices will become 
             effective at COB, Friday, September 15.

             Please contact the QW Service Unit if you have questions
             regarding this close-out date. Please note that the 
             close-out does not interrupt the availability of supplies 
             or laboratory services. It simply defines the fiscal year 
             to which services are charged.
