I would like to welcome Bill Cunningham as Assistant Chief, Office of 
Ground Water (OGW).  Bill comes to us very well prepared for this 
assignment.  He has worked as a hydrologic field assistant, project 
hydrologist, ground-water specialist, unit chief, and section chief during 
his tenure with the Ohio and North Carolina Districts.  Bill has conducted 
wide-ranging basic ground-water studies, advanced modeling studies, and 
ground-water quality investigations.  He served as the Acting Regional 
Ground-Water Specialist for Southeastern Region during the first half of 
1998.  Bill has a B.A in geology and M.S. in hydrogeology from Ohio State
