Subject:        Omega New/Updated Telephone List and Operating Procedures

This message has two purposes (1) to provide a new telephone listings 
dated August 24 in an Excel spreadsheet - all previous telephone listings 
should be destroyed; and (2) outline some new operating procedures to 
allow for improved service to employees.

The DOI Travel Management Center (TMC) Workgroup has recently assessed 
current travel service policies, issues, and customer input comments and 
concluded that some procedural changes are necessary in order to:

        -  Reduce the use of premium delivery charges for paper tickets
        -  Ensure that travelers receive final itineraries before travel 
is initiated
        -  Improve the likelihood of obtaining seat assignments
        -  Reduce travel-related stress for DOI employees to the greatest extent 
possible


The first attachment is the telephone listing and the second is the 
operating procedures.
