Subject: Reston Supply Service Center Closeout Schedule – National Center

This closeout schedule is for our National Center customers.

The retail sales operation of the Reston Supply Service Center (RSSC) will close for its annual fiscal year closeout inventory Tuesday, September 26, 2000 and reopen Friday, September 29, 2000 for fiscal year 2001. The last shopping day for fiscal year 2000 funds is Monday, September 25, 2000. Customers with immediate needs for merchandise during the inventory period may call 7284, 7275, or 7276 for service. The RSSC will remain open for service functions as indicated below.

$ Federal Express (FedEx) activity will continue through September 29. Offices will need to accrue all FedEx charges that have not appeared on their 268 reports. Processed FedEx blue cards will be delivered daily on the first morning mail run.

$ Printing requests must be received by 3:00 p.m. Monday, September 25. However, offices with known printing requirements should consult with us as early as possible to determine if there are any unique jobs that should be referred to the Government Printing Office in ample time to obtain an estimate from them.

$ Color copier charges beginning September 26 will be billed as fiscal year 2001 transactions.

$ Messenger service (Tara Express) activity will continue through September 29. We will process a standard voucher for any remaining charges on October 2.

Offices are requested to advise us of account number changes for fiscal year 2001 by September 27. We can respond with new shopping cards within twenty-four hours. Forms for this purpose are available at the service counter.
