Subject: Feedback Information - Omega World Travel
Finance Officers Group -
This message is to solicit your assistance in the dissemination of
information dealing with the Omega World Travel contract. In an all
employee e-mail message on May 22, 2000, I announced a web site that was
available for anyone to provide feedback to the Departmental TMC Project
Leader regarding Omega's performance. Initially, there were many helpful
responses which provided the necessary information for the TMC task force
to work with the Omega staff on specific issues. Because the responses
have decreased over the last month, the decrease is being perceived as an
indication that performance is improving. In fact, I hope that this is
true, however, I still hear from many individuals regarding poor service
at the Omega call centers. In order for the Project Leader and the TMC
task force to effectively work with Omega to guarantee satisfactory
performance, we need to hear from the employees. I realize that many
employees became so frustrated with Omega that they decided to go directly
to the airlines and by pass the TMC; therefore, they not complaining about
the Omega service anymore. We need to hear from these individuals also
since conclusions are being drawn based on the number of responses and
information from the feedback form.
BOTTOMLINE - please encourage employees to submit any and all
frustrations, problems, issues, suggestions, etc. on the DOI feedback
form:
http://www.doi.gov/pfm/tmc/feedback.html
An additional bit of information is that on-site offices are scheduled to
open within the next month in both Alaska and Guam.
Please contact me (ssheely@usgs.gov)if you have any questions regarding
this request and I appreciate the support of the FOG members.
