A/O's:

If your office will be gaining additional space, reducing your space or 
moving to a different building in 2002, please open the attached and 
assure your change in space is listed.   Any changes which are not listed 
in the attachment are not being submitted with the 2002 budget.  Remember 
the attached list is for changes in space not for increases in operating 
costs.

If you need to add a space change, please provide the following 
information:

Cost Center
Estimated Date of Change
Full Address of New Space or where space is increasing/decreasing
Sq. Ft. you will occupy or release Cost (increase/savings)

Negative responses are not required.  If I don't hear from a cost center, 
I will assume the information on the attachment is correct or your cost 
center plans no moves in 2002.

Subject:  FY2002 Facilities Budget

ADs, RDs,

We are continuing to refine the data supporting our FY2002 Facilities 
Budget Activity proposal as we wait for the call for final figures. 
Attached is a list of proposed program changes to be included in the 
proposal.  The list reflects the cost of proposed new and increased space 
only.  It does not include GSA rent increases or operating cost 
escalations which we categorize as "uncontrollable".   Please review the 
list for accuracy.  Also, please indicate a priority for each of the 
entries for which you have responsibility.  We'll use your priorities to 
frame recommendations for any adjustments that might be necessary.  We'd 
appreciate receiving your input by December 14.  Thanks for your assistance.
