The Senior AOs suggested that we resend all three assessment spreadsheets for your one-stop shopping and because there is apparently some confusion over which spreadsheet is the latest version. We'll get these up on the Operations home page as well.
Attachment 1 is the spreadsheet developed by a small team of district chiefs to allow a cost center to cross-walk FY 99 funds to the budget restructure. This allows a cost center to take final FY 99 funding and apply the changed assessment practices to see the results on funds available in the project for science.
Attachment 2 is the cost center common services spreadsheet. I'm sure all of you are familiar with it's usage. The second section of the spreadsheet was designed to allow a cost center to indicate on which commodities they will offer the standard special rates. By checking the blocks here, this spreadsheet will stand-alone as support for your common services rate. You should attach to it detail supporting your common services budget (e.g., detail on amounts for salary, travel, etc.) and keep on file for audits.
Attachment 3 is the net to gross spreadsheet that I just issued developed for use primarily by project chiefs.
