Hill /signed/ Associate Chief Hydrologist for Program Operations Subject: Announcement of Selections for Two Key Positions in Operations I would like to introduce Dianne Jeffries who is going into the position of Employee Development Program Manager for the Water Resources Division, Denver, Colorado. She will be designing and ensuring the availability of an effective life-long learning program for all employees. Dianne comes to the Survey after 14 years of experience in the field of educational development with the Department of Defense. She has a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's degree in education. Dianne will be working with my office in Reston for a short time before reporting for duty at the National Training Center in Denver. She reports for duty in Reston, July 19, 1999. Thomas J. Zembrzuski, Jr., is joining my staff as the Chief, Branch of Operational Support, Reston, Virginia. Tom has been with the Water Resources Division (WRD) for 29 years, most recently serving as Assistant District Chief for Hydrologic Data in Tacoma, Washington. Before being assigned to the Washington District, Tom worked in WRD districts in Raleigh, North Carolina, and Albany, New York. He has a bachelor's degree in physics with a minor in geology. His background is in surface-water hydrology and hydraulics. Tom expects to report to Reston by early fall. Please join me in welcoming these employees to our Water Resources Division.
