This is to notify you of a change in object class for the reimbursement of professional liability insurance premiums. In Instructional Memorandum Number 99-01, we issued policies, responsibilities and procedures for the reimbursement of professional liability insurance for managers, supervisors, and team leaders. In that memorandum we indicated that requests for reimbursement are to be submitted on a Claim for Reimbursement for Expenditures on Official Business, SF 1164. We noted that each request for reimbursement must indicate the account number to be charged and the object class, which we identified as 421D. In a recent review of object classes, the Department of the Interior designated object class 121T for liability insurance premiums. Please make a note of the new object class for use for professional liability insurance premium reimbursement. If you have any questions, please contact your servicing personnel office.
