MEMORANDUM

To:	All Travel, Purchase and Fleet Credit Card Holders

Subject: NationsBank Mailings Update  - SmartPay Credit Card Program 

This e-mail updates previous information which was provided in the October
23, 1998 e-mail sent to all employees, addressed to all travel, purchase,
and fleet credit card holders, and entitled: "Important New SmartPay Credit
Card Program Conversion Information for Cardholders."  The October 23
e-mail announced that NationsBank would be sending mailings from November
8-18 timeframe to cardholders to complete the activation process prior to
the end of November 1998.  However, the mailings have been delayed by
NationsBank and a new schedule follows below:

1.  Monday, November 16, 1998 - Card Receipt Validation Letter to Cardholders;
2.  Monday, November 16, 1998 - The MasterCard itself with the Cardholder
Agreement, Intro Guide and MasterCard Guide to Benefits;
3.  Between now and Monday, November 30, 1998 - Cardholders EAGLS ID and
password;
4.  By Tuesday, November 24, 1998 - ATM Access PIN mailer (if receiving the
travel business line); and
5.  By Monday, November 23, 1998 - Cardholder Program Guide.

Remember, these mailings will be sent to your office address if you are
authorized for the purchase or travel/purchase business line.  For travel
only, look for these mailings to be sent to your home address.

**NOTE: If you are currently a cardholder in good standing, expecting a new
card, and do not receive any of the above mailings by November 30, 1998,
please call Margaret Seaboy at (703) 648-7350 or Lisa Zukowski at (703)
648-7347. Please allow a few days for the handling by the postal system
and/or internal mail rooms.
