However, there will not be an official 33-cent adhesive stamp. We previously advised customers that they would need to apply the 32-cent and one cent stamp to make up the postage. As specified in our memorandum of April 20, 1999, (Official Postage Stamps at Reduced Prices), offices are to process their stamp requirements to the Reston Supply Service Center (RSSC) at http://rssc.usgs.gov/ . The RSSC is offering the 32-cent stamp rolls at 50 percent off. The new 33-cent envelopes may be ordered from supporting stamp distribution offices (SDOs) as a write-in entry (Item 2173) on Postal Service (PS) forms 17-G and Form 17-J. These forms (available through the SDOs) are being revised to include this item. Customers would order the plain envelopes on PS Form 17-G at $176.50 per box of 500, and the printed addressed envelopes on PS Form 17-J at $180.00 per box of 500. The RSSC will carry Reston-addressed envelopes. We can also assist customers in placing envelope orders with the Postal Service.
