The Holiday Inn, Denver West Village, has undergone a $7,000,000
transformation and all rooms and public areas have been remodeled; and
now the motel meets the standards of the USGS.  Therefore, the Denver
West Village Holiday Inn will be the motel used by the National Training
Center starting on March 1, 1998.  The negotiated rate is $65 per day,
and the allowable per diem charge for students and instructors will be
$99 per day.  The $65 per day rate is available to all USGS travelers.

The Holiday Inn Denver West Village is located at the intersection of
Colfax and Indiana or about two blocks east of the I-70 and West Colfax
interchange
(intersection # 262).  This motel is the Holiday Inn used for many years
by the National Training Center and is about 3 miles from the Denver
Federal Center.

All USGS travelers need to clearly identify themselves as USGS personnel
, and the $65 rate will include local taxes and a select group of
