External Release of the WRD Strategic Directions Document Date: Wed, 19 Aug 1998 15:39:22 -0400 From: "Lewis V. Wade" Reply-To: "Lewis Wade, ACH/Water Information, Reston, VA " To: "A - Division Chief and Staff", "B - Branch Chiefs and Offices", "DC - All District Chiefs" CC: "Lewis Wade, ACH/Water Information, Reston, VA ", "Dorothy M Woods, Secretary (OA), Reston, VA " Subject: External Release of the WRD Strategic Directions Document The Water Resources Division (WRD) Strategic Directions document is now ready for external release. As you are aware, this release will begin the last review cycle for the report, that is, a review by people outside of the U.S. Geological Survey. It is the expectation that the Regions and Districts and other offices within WRD will actually send or distribute the document for review, except for a limited distribution by Headquarters. Attached to this e-mail is a list of organizations and individuals that will receive the document from WRD Headquarters. Under separate cover we mailed multiple copies of the document, along with Bob Hirsch's cover letter, to the Districts and Regions. Should either the Districts or Regions require additional copies or should anyone else require copies, please let me know and we will send them to you. When you receive the document, you may feel free to distribute it. Unless you have heard specifically from me, you can assume that the candidate lists of reviewers that you supplied are acceptable. I would like to ask each of you to let my office know when you have sent the documents to the individuals on the list that you previously supplied. If there are any changes, additions, or deletions, please let my office know. We will be keeping a data base of the individuals that have received the document for review. Thank you for your assistance through this process. If you have any questions, please let me know.
