Hosenfeld, Personnel Officer Co-Chairs, Human Resources Initiatives Committee Subject: Fiscal Year 1999 Human Resources Initiatives Proposal Awards The purpose of this memorandum is to notify you of the final results of the fiscal year 1999 Human Resources Initiatives (HRI) proposal process. A total of 180 proposals were submitted by employees from throughout the U.S. Geological Survey. Separate selection panels for the three categories evaluated the submissions against criteria described in our July 24, 1998, memorandum announcing the call for proposals. Each awardee will be receiving a separate e-mail, detailing the level at which the project was funded. Special needs projects will be announced and funds awarded under separate cover by the Office of Equal Opportunity.
