Applications will be accepted at fax number (650) 329-4098 or at our e-mail address at job_apps@omega7.wr.usgs.gov. To be considered timely, applications you transmit must be electronically postmarked before 12:00 midnight on the closing date specified in the announcement. Applications received after this date will be considered late. Since this pilot is intended to result in a quicker, easier system to apply for vacancies, we encourage employees to streamline their application materials. We are limiting electronic application packages to ten (10) pages. Application packages of more than 10 pages must be sent through the United Postal Service or other mail service. This pilot is only being conducted in the Western Region of the USGS. Other USGS Personnel Offices will not accept fax or e-mail applications. A Western Region Specialist will be glad to answer any questions that you may have about this program.
