Subject:	Inventory of Water Resources Division Computer Systems

All of the System Administrators and most of the managers have received a 
preliminary announcement of the Web-based application for collecting, 
summarizing, and displaying information about Water Resources Division 
computer inventories, FTEs, and budgets.

It is very important that your site complete this information by the 
requested date of March 27, 1998, for your present systems.  The earlier 
announcement at

explains the need for this information, and it asks for data about your 
future procurements by May 1.  You can hold off on providing that data 
until after the Futures Committee #3 report has been released.  A new 
deadline for the Futures data will be announced.

You can expect to be asked to update this information annually, each 
spring, so that the Division has one time each year when all the 
information is assured to be up-to-date.  But, your site should feel free 
to update this information at any time after this initial round.

should be sent to "cpac, lwade."
