The deadline for submitting Investment Plans for FY 1997 is quickly 
approaching.  As a reminder they are to be approved by no later than 
April 30, 1997. 

Forms have been set up in Framemaker to assist in completing the 9-3070 
Working Capital Fund Investment Plan and the 9-3061 Internal Voucher 
forms.  They will be included on the next Application Software Release, 
but may be retrieved by anonymous ftp from qvarsx.er.usgs.gov 
(130.11.51.82).  The five files have been combined and compressed into 
one file called templates.tar.gz and are in the pub/TEMPLATES/ directory.

Before opening the files in FrameMaker 4, issue the following command
to uncompress and untar the file and to keep the original 
templates.tar.gz file:

        gzcat templates.tar.gz | tar xvf - 

This will create a directory called 5Templates that includes the 
files listed above.  Remove the file called templates.tar.gz and ask 
your System Administrator to install the five FrameMaker templates in 
the /usr/opt/frame/fminit/usenglish/Maker/Templates/Forms/ directory.
