Vehicle Fuel Cards To: "AO - All Administrative Officers", "PC - Property Clerks" cc: "David C Madril, Acting Admin Officer, Reston, VA" Subject: Vehicle Fuel Cards Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Date: Tue, 27 May 1997 07:43:30 -0400 From: "David C Madril, Acting Admin Officer, Reston, VA" The following is being forwarded from Melissa Courtney, Property Management Branch. ------- Forwarded Message The Government Fleet Services Card (fuel card) will be mailed by the credit card contractor DIRECTLY TO the address associated with the Billing Account Code (BAC) of the credit card. If the Custodial Property Officer responsible for a given Interior vehicle is located at a different address, it is most important that employees at the BAC address send the card to the CPO as soon as possible, since the cards currently in use will be invalid after May 31st. Any office which has not received a replacement card for each of their Interior vehicles by COB June 2nd, should first contact the office associated with the BAC address, if known, to make sure the card's arrival hasn't been delayed by that office. Otherwise, contact Pauline Scott, of the Property Management Branch, (PMB), on (703) 648-7327, or, via e-mail, at pscott@usgs.gov. Please supply the tag number for each affected vehicle, as well as the BAC, if known, and a contact name and phone number. PMB will contact the credit card company and determine the status of any missing cards, and order replacements for any that may have been overlooked or mailed to the wrong address. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding during this period. - -- Melissa mcourtne@usgs.gov (703) 648-7322 U.S.G.S.
