Two account numbers have been set up for all District Cost Centers to 
assist in accounting for Publications cost in FY 1997. The account 
numbers and titles are as follows:

Account XXXX-97300 - Title: Publications (Credit)

Account XXXX-97400 - Title: Publications (Debit)

The idea is that you would charge all of your Publications costs to the 
Debit account.  The credit account would be used to accumulate a credit 
associated with the work produced by Publications.  The two accounts 
would offset each other. 

If you plan to use these accounts you will need to establish them in AIS. 
If you have specific questions regarding the use of these accounts, 
please contact your Regional AO.
