Virginia G. Miles, phone (703)648-7474, has been selected to manage the Ethics Program for the U.S. Geological Survey. She will serve as the Deputy Bureau Ethics Counselor and will handle financial disclosure matters, succeeding Jane Wallace who retired May 3, 1997. Stephanie Parle, phone (703)648-7422, has been assigned to the new office and will continue to serve as the primary source for ethics advice regarding outside activities, non-official expression, gifts, expenses paid by non-Federal sources, post employment restrictions, and related issues. Laurie Rinker, phone (703)648-4410, has also been assigned to the Ethics Office and will continue her technical and administrative support for the ethics program. All ethics issues that may arise and ethics documents that need to be processed should be directed to the Ethics Program Office at Mail Stop 603, National Center, Reston, Virginia 20192.
