I am sending this message again since the Internet address in the
original message was wrong. It should have been ...index.html instead
of ...index/html. Susan Pimble.

The two contracts (to Oak Ridge Associated Universities and The
Environmental Careers Organization) under the Earth Science Intern
Program have been in place now since July 1996.

The Handbook for anyone interested in having an intern participate in a
project under the Program can be found at
http://www.usgs.gov:8888/ops/index.html This takes you to the
Program Support Services Menu where you will choose Acquisition and then
Earth Science Intern Program.

Please pay particular attention to XVI. Processing Invoices - The A.O.
must certify, record on the invoice the date services were completed and
the date accepted. FORWARD THE ORIGINAL INVOICE TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE
CONTRACTING OFFICER NOT THE OFFICE OF FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT.

You may call Susan Pimble at 703-648-7358 (spimble@usgs.gov) for more
information or contact your regional contracting office - Melanie
Gilbert in Western Region - 4115-329-4152/John Arnold or Debe Boles in
Central Region - 303-236-5900 x349 and x316.
