Each year the Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) Payroll Office imposes a deadline which is the last date they will accept information to be included on the current year W-2 Income Tax form. Included in this requirement is the reimbursement for expenses incurred in connection with a permanent change of station. Based on the dates established by BOR, only those relocation vouchers received in the Travel Management Branch by December 2, 1996, will be reflected on the employee's 1996 W-2. Relocation vouchers received after that date will be processed, but will be reflected on the individual's tax TAX YEAR 1997 W-2. The Office of Financial Management will work with individuals involved in a relocation to accommodate their vouchers and to provide any information they may need. Two Travel Management Branch employees are handling all of the relocations depending on the traveler's last name.
