The following is a brief biography that Lee has supplied. Many of you may already know Lee quite well from her former position as Chief, Space Operations with the Office of Program Support in Reston. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Lee was born in Chicago and relocated to northern California where she completed her education in nursing and undergraduate psychology at the University of California/Berkeley. After a stint of registered nursing at the Veteran's Administration hospital in Martinez, CA, Lee continued federal service with the (then) Buildings Management Division of GSA in San Francisco. She entered the Real Estate Division as a trainee Realty Specialist in 1977. She discontinued government service when her husband was transferred to Colorado and resumed work with GSA in Philadelphia in 1980. Lee remained with GSA until the end of 1983 when she relocated to Virginia Beach, VA to become the Space Management Specialist for the newly created Eastern Administrative Support Center of the Dept of Commerce. Lee worked for Commerce until the end of 1986 when she transferred to Reston to begin work with USGS, assuming the position of Chief, Space Operations - a position she held for 10 years. Lee is presently not married and has no children.
