The Water Resources Division (WRD) Instrumentation Committee (ICOM) and the Instrumentation Technical Advisory Subcommittee (ITAS) met May 6-8, 1997, in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, and at the Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility, Stennis Space Center, Mississippi. A summary of the May joint meeting was transmitted to you earlier via electronic mail. We invite those who have requirements for a new or modified instrument to visit the Instrumentation Committee Home Page and to click on "reports" in the third paragraph. You can review the progress of priority instrumentation projects or click on the first button adjacent to "Create a New Form" to identify a new need. The Home Page software will allow you to forward the Instrument Needs Form to your ITAS representative for consideration at the November ITAS meeting.
