Please review the funding showing on the final FFS reports (316B and 286A) and
make any necessary changes to bring AIS into agreement.  After making changes,
retransmit to HQ.  We anticipate that many changes will be necessary because
of the number of funding adjustments that were processed manually in October.
Questions with the reconciliation process should be addressed to your Regional
Administrative Officer.  After the comparison has been completed for your cost
center, please send a response to Susan Clark (skclark), with a copy to your
Regional Administrative Officer, indicating that your data has been
retransferred or a negative response if no adjustments were needed.  Pay
specific attention to the funding in your 88800 account.

It is very important that this comparison be completed by November 30, 1996 to
allow us time to verify and resolve any discrepancies prior to freezing the
funding for the fiscal year (a capability that we hope will be added to AIS
with the upcoming release 4.0).  Problems meeting this deadline should be
addressed to me on 703-648-5027.

Each Regional AO should also review each changed agreement in AIS to ensure
that the AIS data agrees with the paper copy of the agreement.
