Exciting Salary Projection News for Closeout Date: Wed, 03 Sep 1997 07:41:08 -0400 To: "AO - All Administrative Officers" From: "Alice A. Sabatini, Division Administrative Officer" Subject: Exciting Salary Projection News for Closeout Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" After discussing this issue one of our prestigious and on-the-ball AOs, we agreed to the following approach for salary projections that should save many of you some time. Let us know if you have any questions. It will not be necessary this fiscal year to make adjustments to FFS projected salary costs for permanent employees for the three days in PP22 (September 28-30) if the employees are working on FIXED-PRICE projects. For example, if FFS projects 16 hrs for PP22 for Joe Smith on project 00100 and the employee actually works 14 hours on 00100 and 2 hours on 00300, there is no need for an adjustment because both projects are fixed-price. This does NOT apply to employees working on reimbursable projects. Salary projections MUST be corrected to reflect the accounts where the employee actually worked. Salary accruals must also be recorded for the object classes that are not automatically projected by FFS (e.g., intermittent employees, etc.) ****************************************************************** * Alice A.
