We have been informed by OPS personnel that all September preliminary FFS
reports (286A, 316B, 268, etc.) will be distributed to WRD cost centers by
close of business today.  Many of you have already called to report that you
have very few adjustments.  Because of the early availability of the reports
and the relatively few expenditure problems that we anticipate, we are moving
the deadline up for submission of the closeout adjustment packages.

FFS and AIS data entry should be completed by close of business, Tuesday,
October 15, 1996 and closeout adjustments transferred to Headquarters AIS.

Closeout adjustment packages which consist of the AIS Adjustment Drawdown
Report and supporting documentation should be express mailed to be received by
noon, Wednesday, October 16, 1996.  Negative replies are required.
