I am pleased to announce that William "Scott" McEwen has been selected as 
our Regional Computer Specialist, effective April 28.  Scott started his 
career with USGS in the Alabama District in 1983 and has served as the 
Colorado District Computer Specialist since 1988.  Scott brings managerial 
skills and district experience to his new job.  Scott will focus his 
efforts on enhancing communications and providing leadership in meeting 
future computer needs in a time of high uncertainty.  Please join me in 
welcoming Scott to his new position.
