New member of OGW To: "E - All WRD Employees" From: walley@usgs.gov (Bill Alley) Subject: New member of OGW It is with great pleasure that I announce the selection of Tom Reilly to serve in the newly established Senior Ground-Water Scientist position in the Office of Ground Water (OGW). In this position, Tom will provide leadership in the transfer of ground-water science and technology within WRD, in development of the ground-water component of new bureau programs, and in the Division's ground-water training program. Part of Tom's duties will be to serve as a contact with other Federal agency scientists concerning national ground-water hydrology and contamination issues. Tom brings to the OGW over 20 years of experience with USGS in the study and analysis of ground-water hydrology. He worked for 8 years in the Long Island, New York, Subdistrict before moving to the Office of Ground Water. Tom served as a staff member of the Office of Ground Water, Coordinator of the Regional Aquifer-Systems Analysis (RASA) Program, and Acting Chief of the Office before transferring into the National Research Program (NRP). After 4 years in the NRP, Tom is again joining the Office of Ground Water. Please join me in welcoming Tom back to OGW and to his new role as Senior Ground-Water Scientist.
