The National Water Quality Laboratory (NWQL) wants to remind its customers 
that the fiscal year close-out date for receipt of samples is the second 
Friday of September.  For FY96, the close-out date is September 13.  Final 
NWQL billings should be available no later than Thursday, September 19, 1996.  
When the LABBUDG monthly budget information is available, it will be posted in 
the usgs.labnews continuum.

Any samples or requests for field supplies received by the NWQL 
through close of business September 13, 1996, will be charged to FY96.  
Anything received after that date will be charged to FY97 unless special 
arrangements have been made through the NWQL Administrative Unit.  Please 
contact Debi Treseder (TRESEDER) to make such arrangements.
