Powers Management Support Section, Water Resources Division Subject: FTS 2000 Calling Cards In streamlining efforts, we are eliminating our involvement in the issuance of the FTS 2000 Calling Cards. Effective immediately, requests for FTS 2000 Calling Cards are to be submitted by the Administrative Officer, to Paul Togans, Branch of Telecommunications Services on geomail, PTOGANS. All District AO's should ensure that FTS 2000 Calling Cards are issued to district personnel having need of them in the performance of their official duties. No cards will be issued to a general office or group. The Management Support Section (MSS) is working with the Office of Computer and Communications Services (OCCS) to provide monthly FTS 2000 calling card usage reports to all cost centers. These reports should be available within 6 months. In working with OCCS on this effort, MSS will be reviewing the current cardholder list and requesting OCCS to cancel all FTS 2000 cards currently issued to offices and groups rather than specific individuals effective November 1, 1996. If you have any questions, Paul can be reached on 703-648-7178. The following information is required when requesting a card: Requesters name and office phone number Name of cardholder and office phone number Office address of cardholder Account number Office Code (code used in USGS National Telephone Directory, i.e. WRD-DO-KY) A list of cardholders within your district may be obtained from Paul upon request.
