FFS and the Government Shutdown To: "AO - All Administrative Officers" cc: re_pilots@operqvarsa.er.usgs.GOV, re_pilots2@operqvarsa.er.usgs.GOV Subject: FFS and the Government Shutdown Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Date: Mon, 13 Nov 1995 14:47:24 -0500 From: "Richard W Cecchetti, Accounting Technician, Reston, VA" Be advised that FFS will be shutdown with the rest of the federal government, if a continuing resolution is not passed. This means several things: 1) This is the last day to input items remotely (RDE). 2) Tonight is the last evening that payments will be issued to vendors. All future payments will be held, until a continuing resolution is passed. At that time, all payments previously scheduled to be paid will be issued. As a reminder: a payment is scheduled to be paid thirty days from either the invoice date or the acceptance date, which ever is later. If you have any specific questions, please call the FFS Hotline at (703)648-7600.
