We have been informed that the balance of pay period 01 is now being
processed by the Bureau of Reclamation.  This payment will be done in the same
manner as the previous partial payment (i.e. 65% of normal wage for 40 hours).
This payroll payment should be received by employees by Tuesday, January 9,
1996.  

Pay period 01 covers the period from December 10, 1995 to December 23, 1995.
Pay period 02 covers the period from December 24, 1995 through January 6,
1996.

We have not received instructions regarding the processing of time and
attendance reports for either pay period 01 or 02.  We will pursue this issue
on Monday.  We will provide guidance on this issue directly to timekeepers.

Please do not call us.  Further information on payroll issues (such as the
timing of checks for pay period 02) will be communicated as soon as we receive
that information.  We appreciate your patience.
