Sabatini Administrative Officer, Water Resources Division Subject: Environmental Protection Agency Program Fiscal Year 1995 Minority Contractors Utilization Report REPLY REQUESTED BY OCTOBER 31, 1995 The Department of the Interior has requested that we provide input to the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) annual report on minority contracting activities. Public Law 102-389 requires that 8 percent of all contract dollars obligated under EPA programs be awarded to disadvantaged businesses. This means that the annual report includes data on all projects funded by EPA. Please provide the following information when responding: 1. The Title of any Fiscal Year 1995 Interagency Agreements Between EPA and Your Cost Center 2. The Contract or Purchase Order Number 3. The Contractor's Name and Address 4. The Date and Duration of the Contract 5. The Dollar Amount of the Award 6. If Contract is a Minority, Disadvantaged, Women-Owned or Small Business If your cost center has designated separate accounts for EPA obligations, please provide this information as well. From this information, we can obtain the relevant award data needed to complete the report (EPA Form 6005-3). The report also asks us to identify any USGS efforts directed to increasing minority business involvement in Superfund activities. Please provide information on any efforts that your cost center has made in this area. Your response, including negative reports, is requested by OCTOBER 31, 1995. Please respond by e-mail to Lois Dabaie (ladabaie) by the requested date.
