Change in Federal Travel Regulation To: "AO - All Administrative Officers" Subject: Change in Federal Travel Regulation Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Date: Wed, 14 Feb 1996 09:09:45 -0500 From: "Kelly L Bradley, SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL SPEC, Reston, VA" ------- Forwarded Message From: Susan Sheely Subject: Increase in Max Amount to be Claimed without a receipt This information is unexcusably late -- and many individuals already are aware of the information. The Federal Travel Regulation was amended effective October 1, 1995, to increase from$25.00 to $75.00 the maximum travel expense amount which may be claimed without requirement of supporting receipts. The change was published in the December 6, 1995, Federal Register Vol 60, No 234. Receipts are still required, regardless of amount, for those items listed in the SM 340.12.6C. If any employees have any questions regarding this change, please have them call the Travel Management Branch Hotline on 648-7614. Susan ------- End of Forwarded Message
