Subject:   Administrative Officer, National Mapping Division

This is to inform you that John Lenart has been reassigned to 
serve as Administrative Officer to the National Mapping Division 
(NMD), effective January 16, 1996.  John has been a member of 
the NMD staff for the past 20 years, and has been involved in  
a variety of administrative management matters over that period.  
He is most recently recognized for his endeavors in the office 
space management area.  John succeeds Joan Johnson who recently 
retired.
