Subject:  PERSONNEL--New Assignments at the Hydrologic
                     Instrumentation Facility



Frank S. Henry, Acting Chief, Field Service Section, HIF, has 
been designated Acting Chief, HIF, effective January 2, 1996 
until such time that the newly appointed Chief, Eugene Hayes, 
reports for duty.

Sammy Wilbourn, Engineering Technician, Field Service Section, 
HIF, has been designated Acting Chief, Field Service Section, 
HIF, effective January 2, 1996 until such time that Frank 
Henry returns to the Field Service Section.

James C. Jelinski, Mechanical Engineer, HIF, has been 
designated Acting Chief, Engineering Section, HIF, effective 
January 2, 1996 until such time that the position is formally 
filled.

Please give Frank, Jim, and Sammy your support and assistance 
as they lead HIF through this period of transition and change.
