Subject:  Status of Funding for Fiscal Year 1996

Last week we told you that we expected to be working under another week-long continuing resolution which
would fund us through midnight, March 29.  It appears now that another temporary continuing resolution will be
signed.  Therefore, as we advised last week, you should continue with your normal work activities.

In the highly unlikely event that a temporary continuing resolution is not signed by midnight, March 29, you are
reminded that you should report to work at the beginning of your next usual workday to receive instructions.  We
do not expect a shutdown of the Government to occur, and we remain hopeful that a permanent appropriations bill
will be signed into law for us soon.
