A fast, easy, reliable way for you to process certain personnel and payroll actions using touch tone phones and kiosks. 2. Implementation: April 28, 1996. Watch for your PIN number in early May! 3. Before your start: . Change Tax Withholding -- Know the number of deductions you wish to take. Ask your administrative office for a W-4 worksheet for Federal taxes. You may only change Federal Tax Withholding: the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) requires a paper copy when you and when you claim more than 10 State Tax withholding requirements are similar - but Alabama and Missouri will not allow electronic filing. . Direct Deposits -- You may direct deposit your net paycheck and up to two allotments. You need to know your financial institution's routing number and your account number. . Home Address Change -- You need to know the new address, including the ZIP code, either five digits or nine digits. 4. How do I get Access? Your PIN (personal identification number) will be mailed to your home address the day we go "live". This number is necessary to log onto the system. If you are a new hire, you will receive your PIN within three weeks of the effective date of your personnel action. Your initial PIN was computer generated and not easy to remember; you can change your PIN when you access Employee Express. What do I do if I forget my PIN? After that data, both Employee Express and your Leave and Earnings Statement should reflect the change. . After you take the action, and you just want to "review it" -- wait until after the effective date you received during the transaction, and dial the Employee Express again.
