Hirsch)) Subject: Announcement of Assessment Policy Briefings Members of the Bureau Assessment Steering Committee will be conducting briefings on the new bureau assessment system at the National Center, Regional Centers, and Atlanta, Georgia. The briefings will provide an overview of the policies, their underlying philosophical tenets, and review the schedule for implementation. Briefings will be conducted at each location (three one-day briefings from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a lunch break from 12:00 to 1:30). We have prepared the following schedule to allow lead time and permit completion of these briefings prior to the closeout period. Please forward this information to interested employees in your Division. Registration for the briefing is not required, but we do ask that Divisions balance the attendees among the sessions.
