and C. Albert Harr, Editors, Open-File Report 90-140
This report describes methods used by the U.S. Geological
Survey for the collection and processing of surface-water
and bed-material samples for the determination of their
chemical and physical characteristics. The report is being
distributed herewith as an Open-File Report pending
publication as a Techniques of Water-Resources Investigations
Report. The subject publication should be read by personnel
responsible for collecting and processing surface-water and
bed-material samples.
