Subject:  PUBLICATIONS--Methods for Determination of Inorganic 
                        Substances in Water and Fluvial Sediments

The subject document is the revision of Techniques of Water 
Resources Investigations, Book 5, Chapter Al and is being released 
as Open-File Report 85-495 pending final publication.

This manual contains the analytical methods currently in use in 
the Central Laboratory for the determination of inorganic 
substances and documents the significant expansion in analytical 
capabilities undertaken by the laboratories.

Additional copies are available from the Chief, Office of Water 
Quality.
