         Sediment Discharge to Streamflow, by B. R. Colby.

Because of its applicability to the many new programs in WRD 
related to non-point source pollution, which includes 
sediment yield, we have had the subject report reprinted. 
Copies are attached for your reference.

The techniques explained in this report remain as some of the 
best available for estimating sediment discharge or sediment 
yield. For your information, we are planning a publication in 
the Techniques of Water Resources Investigations series that 
will describe various techniques for interpreting sediment 
data.  The publication will include much of Colby's work plus 
other similar techniques developed by others during the past 
several years.
