Subject:  Publications--Distribution of report, "Essentials of
                        Ground-Water Hydrology Pertinent to Water-
                        Resources Planning," by Gerald Meyer,
                        et al, Bulletin 16 (revised).

Enclosed are copies of the subject report which was prepared by a
U.S. Water Resources Council, Ground-Water Work Group, headed by
Gerald Meyer.  This revised version of Bulletin 16 presents the
essentials of ground-water hydrology pertinent to water-resources
planning and discusses advances in the analysis of ground-water
systems, including the factors that influence the management and
administration of the ground-water resources.
