Subject:  Conference on hydrology of volcanics in the western
          states

The attached tentative list of papers to be presented at the
conference on Hydrology of Volcanics in the Western States and
list of persons who have indicated they plan to attend the
conference were compiled from responses to the Ground Water Branch
Memorandum No. 57.38.  The conference appears to have reached its
optimum size; however, if for some reason there are one or two
additional persons within the Branch who have been planning on
attending, but who have not notified Mr. Mundorff, they should do
so immediately.  Likewise, if it becomes necessary for someone to
drop out, Mr. Mundorff should be notified as soon as possible.

Those who will require supplemental travel authorizations should
submit them to this office for approval.

As stated in Ground Water Branch Memo No. 57.38, if copies of
papers to be presented are received in this office by August 5th,
an attempt will be made to have them duplicated so that they can
be distributed for review before they are presented orally at the
meeting.
