Purpose

These data delineate the areal extent of Unconsolidated-deposit aquifer as defined in the 'Ground Water Atlas of the United States' (U.S. Geological Survey HA 730). The scale of source material is 1:2,500,000 and these data are not intended for use at a larger scale.
